Barzan Ibrahim al-Tikriti

Summary: half-brother of Saddam Hussein and a former Iraqi intelligence chief who had been found guilty along with Hussein in the killing of 148 Shiite Muslims and was originally scheduled to be executed with Hussein on December 30, 2006 but his hanging (during which his head was reportedly severed from his body) in Baghdad, Iraq was delayed along with that of Awad Hamed al-Bandar, the head of Iraq's Revolutionary Court.
